Global trends, technological shifts and entrepreneurship came together at Finansieringsdagen

On 27 November, Finansieringsdagen 2025 brought together entrepreneurs, investors and industry actors at ASSAR Industrial Innovation Arena in Skövde. This year’s edition focused on how a shifting global landscape, rapid technological development and our own internal goal conflicts are shaping the future of investment. Participants were offered a day filled with new perspectives, insights and meetings that open the door to future collaborations.
“Finansieringsdagen this year was filled with valuable insights, new connections and important conversations. It was fantastic to see so many relationships being formed, and to receive such positive feedback from the participants,” says Anna Emanuelsson, Business Developer at Science Park Skövde and Project Manager for Finansieringsdagen.
Global outlook, entrepreneurship and climate behaviour
The day began with a keynote from Georg Marthin, who provided an up-to-date overview of the global economy and how geopolitics and international trade will influence future investment. This was followed by pitches from startups presenting new solutions and business ideas, before Jenny Brusk took the stage to highlight the challenges and opportunities within female entrepreneurship.
“Change is possible — but it requires persistence, a clear idea of what you want to change and, above all, the will to make that change happen,” says Jenny Brusk, Business Developer at Science Park Skövde and founder of the women-in-games network DONNA.
During lunch, a live episode of Drakpodden was recorded. In the afternoon, researcher and rhetorician Maria Wolrath Söderberg delved into why people often act in conflict with their own ideals, despite knowing about the climate crisis.
“We reason differently depending on the issue, and our reasoning can change. How we think shapes what we consider reasonable — both morally and practically. And going forward, we need to achieve a magnificent climate transition,” Maria explained.

Future leadership and the technological shift
Toward the end of the day, investor, author and legal expert Evelina Anttila shared her insights on how AI is reshaping leadership, creativity and company building.
“AI is the next industrial revolution — but it’s just as much a question of security and resilience. We must dare to use AI, but in a responsible way that sets the right boundaries,” she said.

“Finansieringsdagen aims to inspire new innovative capabilities, open doors to capital and strengthen the relationships that are crucial for entrepreneurs with forward-thinking business ideas to take their next step. At a time when transformation is more important than ever, we want to help more people dare to invest, innovate and take the steps needed to realise the solutions of the future,” concludes Anna Emanuelsson.
