Sharp Pitches and Big Ideas as Entrepreneurs Took the Stage at Summer Pitch

This Wednesday, Science Park Skövde hosted Summer Pitch together with Sweden Game Arena, where entrepreneurs from both the digital and games industries took the opportunity to present their latest ideas to a panel of investors, publishers, and industry experts. The day offered a mix of early-stage and more established teams, all aiming to sharpen their concepts, gather valuable feedback and hopefully attract new partnerships or investments.
“It always feels powerful when we can gather tomorrow’s ideas under one roof,” said Kristina Björkman, business coach at Science Park Skövde.
A total of fiftheen teams pitched - three from the digital sector and three from the games sector. While most of them were part of Science Park Skövde’s startup program, the lineup also included external teams from places like Borås and Vänersborg.
The digitalization teams pitching were PicApp, SparePartners, and Safe Site Sweden. On the panel for this track were Alex Hisop from Unstoppable Momentum, Maggie Malek from Almi Väst, Marcus Bjering from Piktiv and Viktoria Ronge from WinLas.
“All three teams presented strong ideas with a clear vision of what they want to achieve. There's so much potential among them,” said Viktoria Ronge. “It's inspiring to be here, contribute with my own experience and follow these entrepreneurs on their journey.”

Creativity Took Center Stage
The majority of teams pitching were from the games industry, drawing a large and enthusiastic crowd in the afternoon.
Twelve game teams pitched: Red Rose Interactive, Elva Entertainment, Red Vault Interactive, Dofhouse, Brygd, Splendid Failures, Silent Factory, Elscar Games, Aurora Arts, Noodleloop, FamCram and BigMood.
The expert panel included Marcus Bromander (InnerSloth), Denis Ilecic (Paradox Interactive), Sandra Neudinger (Elda Entertainment), Johan Hermerén (Three Friends), and Rebecca Lautner (Landfall Games), all of whom offered feedback and forward-looking advice to the pitching teams.
“I’m always blown away by how creative people are. It’s incredible to watch someone deliver their life’s work and passion in just five minutes, in front of a panel and an audience. That takes courage", said Denis Ilecic from Paradox Interactive.
He emphasized the quality of the presentations.
“I see a lot of pitches in my role, and it’s something you develop over time. But the level here today was impressive - it’s a well-organized event, and I’d be happy to return.”

The team JaNiThaRo came to Summer Pitch from Berlin.
All the Way from Berlin
One of the pitching teams traveled all the way from Berlin. Jaime Emilio O’Hea Flores and his team JaNiThaRo took a chance on Summer Pitch after hearing about it from a professor.
“We’re university students, and a professor mentioned a pitching event in Sweden we should check out. So we applied - and here we are!” Jaime said. “It was our first time pitching in front of an expert panel, and showing our game FamCram was both exciting and rewarding.”
The day wrapped up with a relaxed networking session, giving teams the chance to continue their conversations with panelists and investors. Later in the evening, startups from the Sweden Game Startup program opened the doors to their office space at Science Park Skövde for more informal networking and light refreshments.
The next pitch opportunity will be Sweden Game Pitch, taking place during Sweden Game Conference on October 23–24.
